Robert E. Croner – Principal

Rob Croner brings an outstanding human resources background and executive-level experience to his role as a principal with the firm. As a senior-level human resources executive, Rob has developed a strong reputation for his ability to lead high-performing HR functions that have been recognized regionally for their contributions to business success.

Most recently, Rob was Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Radian Group, Inc, a Fortune 1000 mortgage insurance firm headquartered in Philadelphia. Serving as a key member of the Executive team, Rob excelled at developing collaborative and productive relationships with his peer executives, and directed the design and implementation of a highly effective HR “delivery model” resulting in significant improvements in business performance. A notable highlight was a regional “HR Department Award” received by the Radian HR team in 2007 for their accomplishments in support of a proposed merger.

Prior to Radian, Rob was the Vice President of Human Resources for Independence Blue Cross, responsible for managing all human resources activities for a prominent healthcare insurer. During his tenure, the HR function was recognized by the Philadelphia Area Council of Excellence for superior human resources performance, and also received a regional “HR Department Award” in 2001. Rob was also recognized as a leading HR executive, receiving the Delaware Valley “HR Person of the Year” award in 2001. Previous experience includes senior-level HR positions with Fidelity Bank (Wachovia) and the Philadelphia Inquirer & Daily News.

At HResults, Rob is responsible for business development and managing client engagements, with a particular focus on improving HR and organizational business alignment. Rob will also be actively involved in counseling and performance coaching for HR and business executives, and individual development programs for HR professionals.

Rob holds a masters degree in Human Resource management from Widener University and a bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College. In addition to his corporate experience, Rob currently holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching coaching and human resources management courses. He has served on the boards of non-profit and professional organizations, including Metropolitan Career Center, the Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board (PWIB), and the Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Society.
