Stuart L. Anmuth – Managing Director

Stuart L. Anmuth is the founder and Principal consultant of HResults. As a management consultant, he has developed a strong reputation for identifying and designing solutions that lead to greater organizational effectiveness. He has consulted extensively in the areas of strategic planning, organizational design, culture change and the implementation and alignment of business and Human Resource strategies.

A particular strength is his ability to work with organizations of all sizes and across diverse industries. Recent projects with large organizations have included working with a major transnational pharmaceutical company on the integration of diverse corporate cultures in the U.S. and overseas; developing a model for Human Resources support that was compatible with the culture of a highly entrepreneurial, fast growing regional banking organization and providing direction and oversight of its successful implementation; the assessment and redesign of the organizational structure of a consumer products manufacturer; organizational realignment of a major internet retailer; and a strategic review of the Human Resources function of an international environmental services company. In addition, he has recently facilitated long term planning and visioning sessions with the senior leadership teams of a major financial institution and a leading health insurer. With smaller and emerging organizations, recent projects have included the development of strategic business and growth plans, design of HR infrastructure and leadership development and reward and recognition program design.

A strong background as a senior Human Resource executive has resulted in an approach that is pragmatic and client focused. Prior to founding HResults, Inc., Stuart was the head of Human Resources for (Aetna) U.S. Healthcare. Previous executive roles included Vice President positions at Bankers Trust New York Corporation and Wachovia, as well as senior Human Resource positions at The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News and Exxon Corporation.

Stuart holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology from Temple University. He has served on the boards of professional organizations including the Philadelphia Human Resources Planning Group and the Society for Human Resources Management as well civic and non-profit groups including the Friends of Philadelphia Parks and the Center for Literacy.
